The regional list celebrates the great workplaces across specific local regions across the UK.
What does it take to get recognised by Best Companies?
To be recognised as a Best Company, employees are asked to complete an in-depth b-Heard survey about their experience working at Graphite. The survey covers areas such as; giving something back to the community; fair pay and support; relationships with their managers and senior teams.
After each survey, Best Companies award accreditation based on the score generated by the survey. The BCI score is scored on a fixed scale of 0 - 1000 and if high enough, companies will receive either a ‘One to Watch’ status, or 1 – 3 Star accreditation.
This gives an accurate benchmark against which to compare engagement levels year on year, as well as seeing how we compare to others.
Having now undertaken 3 surveys, this is the first year that we’ve gone for accreditation and have been recognised, at the moment with a ‘Very Good’ status. In the years to come, through learning from and acting on the insights gained in our B-Heard surveys, we’re hoping to keep improving on this to become Very Good, Outstanding, or even World Class!
